Deep Dive Project.D: Where Dreams Converge

Deep Dive Project.D: Where Dreams Converge

Introduction

Hello, I'm Evan, and I'm excited to share two of my dearest passions: FD and Project.D.

Decoding Project.D
You might be curious about what Project.D stands for. To me, it symbolizes dreams. While some may associate it with drifting, that's the wonderful thing - it carries unique meanings for different individuals.

The Influence of Initial D
Upon closer reflection, it's evident that Initial D played a significant role in shaping Project.D. This iconic series was my gateway into the vibrant world of "JDM." Unlike many enthusiasts focusing on AE86, my heart beats strongest for the FD3S (Takahashi Keisuke). His unwavering determination, turning setbacks into legend, left an enduring impression. I was captivated when he breathed new life into his battered FD with the RE Amemiya Kit in the 4th stage.

When I reached the age of working, I promised myself that the RX7 would be mine. No Ferraris, no Lamborghinis - just the RX7.

Dreams Realized at 27
At 27, my dream came true; I finally owned the exact RX7 from the 4th stage (still haven't powder coating my SSR wheels), built by the legendary RE Amemiya. VIDEO LINK

Navigating the Vegas JDM Scene
A significant chapter in my family's journey - a move from Pasadena, California to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2022.

I've encountered like-minded souls on Vegas streets and witnessed impressive car builds. However, I've never come across a quality meet and coffee event quite like those I experienced in California.
This realization sparked an epiphany - the time was right to launch Project.D, a platform that brings together JDM enthusiasts.

As of now, the project is still in its early stages...

Why do Merchandise?
For the past 15 years and still ongoing, I've been deeply immersed in fashion and art. From Bape to Been Trill, Pyrex to Prada, and Balenciaga to Raf Simons and Rick Owens.

Me and Virgil

I firmly believe that a car enthusiast can have impeccable taste in both cars and personal style.

DROP 001 is my initial attempt to showcase what I bring to the table as a newcomer.

I meticulously followed every step. Using a Balenciaga shirt as a template, from fabric selection to silhouette cutting to printing, it was a labor of love. I'm not a fan of those quick-profit brands that merely print on low-quality Gildan or Comfort Colors blanks and sell to their followers at exorbitant prices...

Anticipate unique merchandise drawn from my archive of fashion pieces.
I aim to bridge the worlds of art and cars because, to me, a car is a work of art.

A Heartfelt Thanks
My deepest gratitude goes to those who have already purchased our t-shirts.

An Open Canvas for Collaboration
Our merchandise isn't limited to my designs alone. It's an open canvas, a collective effort. I've even set up a Discord channel for anyone with design ideas. Your suggestions aren't just welcome. They're vital. Art is a fascinating spectrum; it's like a painting on a wall - everyone sees it through their unique lens. Please share your thoughts and ideas!

A Hub for Kindred Spirits
I envision Project.D Las Vegas becoming a gathering place for like-minded individuals. Let's initiate our cars and coffee events, explore the winding roads of Red Rock Canyon, and relish the joy of driving the cars we fell in love with right there in front of us, not collecting dust in a garage.

More Than an Owner, a Messenger
While I may be the owner of Project.D, there is no singular owner. I'm simply a messenger, here to unite and inspire. We only have one shot at this life. Discovering diverse people and cultures that share the same passions within the same city? That's truly special and dope.

Join Us on the Journey
I extend a warm invitation to all of you who share this passion.

Let's collectively shape Project.D into a vibrant space for JDM enthusiasts where friendships flourish. Your involvement and ideas are the driving force behind this journey, and I'm genuinely thankful for each of you who embarks on this thrilling ride with us. Las Vegas is renowned as a tourist city, but why can't our Project.D be a part of it and showcase that this city is more than just glitz and gambling? There are other spirits here.

I hope, one day, Project.D can be a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike.

Stay tuned for more updates, and let's make Project.D an unforgettable chapter in the Las Vegas JDM enthusiast's playbook!
