April 24–25, 2025
Los Angeles, CA
I'm beyond excited to finally share this: I had the incredible honor of being invited by none other than Larry Chen to be part of the Roll-Up & Refuel commercial shoot with the amazing production team at Safari Sundays.
The shoot took place overnight in Los Angeles from April 24 to 25, with call times running between 5 PM and 3 AM—8 to 10 hours of pure adrenaline, creativity, and automotive passion. The entire vibe was electric. Cameras rolling, lights blazing, engines roaring—it was every car enthusiast's dream.
The most surreal part? My FD RX-7 was featured front and center alongside some of the most stunning cars in the game. Seeing it under the lights, framed by one of the best automotive photographers in the world, and being captured for a nationwide TV commercial was something I’ll never forget.
The commercial is officially out now on national television, and I still get chills every time I see it air. To have been a part of something on this scale, with such a talented crew, and to have my build share the screen with other automotive legends—it’s nothing short of an honor.

Huge thanks to Larry, Safari Sundays, and everyone involved in making this happen. Stay tuned for behind-the-scenes photos, clips, and maybe even a few stories that didn’t make the final cut!
Until then—keep your tanks full and your cameras rolling.
